Daddy Makeover
Overview
A Daddy Makeover is a personalized combination of cosmetic surgical procedures designed to enhance the male body, improve abdominal contours, and address concerns related to penile size and buttock shape.
Similar to a Mommy Makeover, which combines several procedures to reshape different areas of the body, the Daddy Makeover focuses on male body proportions and intimate enhancement.
Depending on the patient's anatomy and goals, treatment may combine abdominal liposuction, abdominoplasty, penile lengthening, penile thickening, and male buttock augmentation (BBL).
One of the distinctive features of this approach is the possibility of using the patient's own abdominal fat to enhance penile girth and buttock volume. This technique, known as autologous fat transfer or lipofilling, allows fat removed from one area to be used to reshape another.

What Can a Daddy Makeover Address?
A Daddy Makeover may address several aesthetic concerns involving the abdomen, genital area, and buttocks.
These include:
Each procedure is selected according to the patient's anatomy and individual goals.
Daddy Makeover Procedures
Abdominal Liposuction & Abdominoplasty
The abdomen is often one of the principal areas addressed during a Daddy Makeover.
Abdominal liposuction removes localized deposits of subcutaneous fat to improve the contours of the waist and abdomen. It can also provide fatty tissue for transfer to other areas of the body.
The harvested fat is carefully processed before being used for procedures such as penile thickening or male buttock augmentation.
For patients with significant loose skin or abdominal muscle separation, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) may also be recommended.
Unlike liposuction, which primarily removes fat, abdominoplasty removes excess skin and may tighten weakened abdominal muscles.
These procedures may be combined when appropriate to create a smoother and more defined abdominal contour.
Penile Thickening – Fat Transfer
Penile thickening, also known as penile girth enhancement or lipopenosculpture, is a procedure designed to increase penile circumference using the patient's own fat.
Fat is typically harvested through liposuction from areas such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs.
After processing, the fatty tissue is carefully injected beneath the penile skin to increase girth and improve the overall contour.
Using autologous fat avoids the introduction of a permanent synthetic filler.
However, a portion of the transferred fat may be reabsorbed over time, and the final increase in circumference can vary. Additional treatment may occasionally be required.
The objective is to achieve a proportionate increase in penile girth while preserving natural appearance and function.
Penile Lengthening
Penile lengthening is a surgical procedure intended to increase the visible length of the penis, primarily in its flaccid state.
One technique involves partially releasing the suspensory ligament, which anchors the penis to the pubic bone. This allows a greater portion of the penile shaft to extend outside the body.
In patients with excess fat in the pubic region, liposuction or removal of the suprapubic fat pad may further improve the visible length by exposing more of the penile shaft.
Penile lengthening does not increase the actual length of the erectile tissue, and improvements in erect length are generally limited or unpredictable.
When appropriate, penile lengthening and thickening may be included in the same personalized surgical plan.
Male Buttock Augmentation – BBL
A male Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) uses the patient's own fat to improve buttock volume, projection, and contour.
Fat harvested from the abdomen or other suitable donor areas is processed and transferred into the subcutaneous tissues of the buttocks.
Unlike buttock augmentation techniques intended to create a more traditionally feminine silhouette, male buttock contouring can be planned to enhance projection and proportions while maintaining a masculine appearance.
The amount of fat transferred depends on the available donor fat, anatomy, and safety considerations.
Gluteal fat transfer requires particular precautions because injection into or beneath the gluteal muscles can cause a potentially fatal fat embolism. Current safety recommendations support ultrasound-guided placement exclusively in the subcutaneous fat layer.

The Daddy Makeover Procedure
1. Consultation & Assessment
Dr. Michel Alain Danino evaluates the abdomen, fat distribution, body proportions, genital anatomy, and buttock contours.
Your medical history, aesthetic goals, and expectations are reviewed to determine which procedures may be appropriate.
2. Abdominal Contouring & Fat Harvesting
Liposuction is used to remove selected deposits of abdominal fat.
The harvested fatty tissue is processed to prepare it for transfer to the planned treatment areas.
If significant excess abdominal skin is present, abdominoplasty may also be considered.
3. Penile & Buttock Enhancement
Depending on the surgical plan, processed fat may be transferred to the penile shaft to increase circumference and to the buttocks to improve volume and contour.
Penile lengthening, when indicated, is performed using a separate surgical technique.
4. Postoperative Care
Dressings, compression garments, and specific postoperative instructions are provided according to the procedures performed.
Because several anatomical areas may be treated, recovery requires careful planning. In some cases, procedures may be divided into separate operations to reduce surgical risks.
Recovery & Results
Recovery varies depending on the number and extent of procedures performed.
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, and temporary discomfort are common after liposuction and fat transfer. Compression garments may be recommended for the abdominal area, and temporary restrictions on sitting, exercise, and sexual activity may be necessary.
Patients undergoing penile enhancement may experience temporary swelling and sensitivity, while those undergoing buttock fat transfer may need to limit direct pressure on the treated areas.
Initial improvements become visible as swelling decreases, but final results develop gradually over several months.
Fat-transfer results depend partly on how much of the transferred fat survives. Some volume loss is expected, and additional procedures may sometimes be necessary.
Risks & Possible Complications
Combining several procedures increases surgical complexity and requires careful patient selection.
Potential complications include:
-
Bleeding, infection, or hematoma
-
Fluid accumulation (seroma)
-
Delayed wound healing
-
Unfavorable scarring
-
Changes in sensation
-
Asymmetry or contour irregularities
-
Fat reabsorption, fat necrosis, or palpable nodules
-
Changes in penile sensation, appearance, or erectile function
-
Complications associated with suspensory ligament release
-
Blood clots
-
Fat embolism, particularly during gluteal fat grafting
-
Anesthesia-related complications
-
Need for additional surgery
Not all Daddy Makeover procedures are necessarily performed during the same operation. The decision depends on the patient's health, surgical complexity, and the safest approach to treatment.
